Connecting Communities Initiative

At Astound, we believe that with the right tools and support, anyone can achieve their goals. That's why we created our Connecting Communities Initiative. It's our way of giving back to the communities we serve and helping to make a positive impact on those who need it most.

Astound is all about creating connections. From homes, to communities, to the world, we connect people through our cable, internet and phone service. But more than that, we seek to connect our neighbors to what matters most, so we can all live and work in a place where dreams can be pursued and lives can be enriched.

One of our priority projects is focusing on students and providing them with a positive learning environment. Education is one of the most powerful tools in creating a vibrant and healthy community. Astound supports our local school districts in helping to provide solid educational opportunities for all, through our charitable donations.

Adopt-A-Classroom is a nonprofit organization that increases opportunity for student success by empowering teachers with community partners and funds to purchase resources for the classroom. Astound has adopted several classrooms within the communities we serve, focusing on classrooms in schools where over 75% of the students come from low-income households. We make direct financial contributions to these classrooms and sponsor classroom-related activities.
