Multimedia Modem
If you're taking advantage of one of our amazing bundle deals, and ordering both internet and phone service from Astound, you will need a Multimedia Modem. For $5/month, this small device is used in place of a cable modem, and ensures that your phone service and internet service work in harmony.

Cat chew through your cable TV wire? Did the vacuum cleaner suck up more than just dirt? No worries. Astound's Wire Guard plan can cover repairs to your Astound services inside wiring at a low monthly cost.
With Wire Guard, should you ever experience an inside wiring problem with your Astound service, simply call Astound customer service and we will handle it from there. No additional repair bills: one call to Astound, and Wire Guard covers your interior Astound cable TV, Internet or phone wiring repairs. Avoid handling your own repairs, calling a third party electrician, or being charged by Astound for repairs.
What is covered?
- Diagnosis: When you report trouble, we will test the line to locate the problem.
- Repair: If the trouble is on the covered portion of wire as defined by the Wire Guard Terms and Conditions, it will be covered by the plan.
"Inside Wiring" includes inside telephone, cable and data wire and jacks, excluding home LAN wiring. Please see our complete Wire Guard Terms and Conditions for exclusions and details.
All levels of Astound High-Speed Internet include 30 MB of personal web space, ten email addresses, remote Webmail access to conveniently check your messages, and 100 GB or 300 GB of data transfer usage (based on service level).

All levels of internet service include up to 100 GB of data transfer usage a calendar month at no additional charge. High Speed 18 and High Speed 50 include an additional 200 GB, for a total of 300 GB. Data transfer usage includes both downstream/download and upstream/upload activity. Data transfer usage allotment upgrades may be added to your service for $10/100 GB. Data transfer usage beyond the included allotment in a month is subject to additional charges.
Roku + High Speed 18 and Roku + High Speed 50 require a TV (HD or SD, but HD is required for streaming HD content), a wired or wireless router to connect the Roku to our internet service, a computer capable of accessing the internet in order to activate the Roku player, and a valid credit card (required to create personal Roku account and to authorize pay-per-view purchases from within Roku channels).
