More Great Channels Added

Astound is proud of our commitment to bringing our customers the entertainment they request. In response to recent requests, we're happy to announce the launch of TV36 HD, LATV, KBS, and CCTV News!

TV36 HD airs classic sitcoms, talk shows, reality shows, and movies in true high definition; LATV is a bilingual music and entertainment network; KBS is the largest South Korean broadcasting system; CCTV News provides 24-hour news coverage, in-depth reports, and commentary programs.

TV36 HD is a high-definition channel, so you must have HD-enabled equipment, such as an HD-DVR from Astound, to watch it. LATV, KBS, and CCTV News are all digital channels, so you must have digital requipment, such as a Digital Receiver from Astound, to watch them.

If you are in the Concord, Walnut Creek, and Pleasant Hill service areas, you can see TV36 HD on channel 912, LATV on channel 633, KBS on channel 604, and CCTV News on channel 603.

If you are in the San Francisco and Peninsula services areas, you can see TV36 HD on channel 201, LATV on channel 521, KBS on channel 392, and CCTV News on channel 393.

The addition of TV36 HD puts Astound at over 77 HD channels in our Bay Area service regions, with even more HD content on our HD On Demand offering. And there's more to come!
