Concord and Walnut Creek Calling Features
Turns off call waiting on a per-call basis.
Turns off caller ID information transmitted for outgoing calls on a per-call basis.
This feature is used if you have caller ID privacy set as a permanent feature on your Astound Phone. You will receive a message when calling an individual that does not accept anonymous calls. Simply hang up, dial *82 and try again.
If you receive a busy signal you can hang up, pick up the receiver again and dial *66. The system will continue to call the last number you dialed for up to 30 minutes. Once that line is free, your phone will ring with a distinctive ring to notify you. You may continue to make and receive phone calls normally while this feature is activated.
Cancel Repeat Dial (*86) disables repeat dial before the 30 minute time frame is over.
Forwards incoming calls to another telephone number. After the tone, enter the number to forward incoming calls to. That number will then ring. When the call is answered, forwarding will be activated. If the call is not answered, repeat these steps within two minutes to activate.
Note: If you forward calls to a long distance number, long distance charges may apply depending on your service agreement.
Cancel Call Forward (*73) disables call forward.
This feature redirects incoming calls to another phone number if your line is busy or not answered after four rings. To activate Busy or No Answer options, contact Astound with the phone number where calls should be forwarded. Using *72 to forward calls will override all other call forwarding features.
Automatically blocks numbers that have disabled their caller ID information. They will hear a message that you are not receiving anonymous calls with instructions on how to disable their caller ID privacy.
Cancel Anonymous Call Rejection (*87) disables anonymous call rejection.
Allows you to bridge together two lines in addition to your own so that three separate individuals can speak on a single call.

Call Forward - Busy Line is a fixed call forward that automatically routes all incoming calls to another number when your line is busy.
Call Forward - Don't Answer is a fixed call forward that automatically routes all incoming calls to another number when not answered after a predetermined number of rings.
Call Forward - Busy Line/Don't Answer is a fixed call forward that automatically routes all incoming calls to another number when the line is busy or unanswered.
Call Forward Variable (*72) is activated from your handset rather than as a fixed call forward arrangement. All incoming calls will be forwarded regardless of if the line is busy or unanswered.
Disable Call Forward Variable (*73)
Call Forward Deluxe allows you to setup Call Forward Variable from anywhere in the world, or change the number where your phone calls are being forwarded to.
Select Call Forward (*63) selects a maximum of ten telephone numbers for forwarding to another location.
Disable Select Call Forward (*83)
Repeat Call (*66) allows you to automatically redial the last number you dialed in which you received a busy signal. The system will continue to dial that number for up to 30 minutes. When the line is available, your phone will make a distinctive ring.
Disable Repeat Call (*86)
Call Return (*69) provides the name, number, date and time of your last incoming telephone call. The system will then give you the option of returning that call. If the line is busy, the system will continue to call the number every 40 seconds for 30 minutes. When the line is available, your phone will make a distinctive ring. (This feature will not work if the caller blocked the caller ID information)
Disable Call Return (*89)
Speed Dial 8 (*74) stores up to eight unique numbers for convenience and speed. It is as easy as pressing a one-digit number followed by the # key. Adding a new number on speed dial automatically replaces the previously saved number.
Deactivate Speed Dial 8: To remove a number from your speed call list, you must replace it with another number.
Speed Dial 30 (*75) stores up to thirty unique numbers for convenience and speed. It is as easy as pressing a one-digit number followed by the # key. Adding a new number on speed dial automatically replaces the previously saved number.

Anonymous Call Rejection (*77) blocks calls from people who do not allow their name or number to appear in your caller ID display. Callers will hear a message that you do not allow blocked calls. This feature will not work with telemarketing firm calls.
Deactivate Anonymous Call Rejection (*87)
Call Block (*60) blocks calls from as many as 10 numbers in your calling area. Callers will hear a message saying that you're not accepting calls from their number at this time. After receiving a call from someone you wish to block, simply pick up the receiver immediately after the unwanted call and dial *60. This feature will not work for 800 numbers, such as telemarketing auto-dialers or any caller who is calling from a phone system with multiple lines.
Note: Not compatible with Remote Call Forward
Deactivate Call Block (*80)
Caller ID Blocking (*67) is used to prevent your telephone number and/or name from appearing on the caller ID display of the party you are calling. This service is active at all times when the feature is part of your monthly subscription.
Deactivate Caller ID Blocking (*82)
Call Waiting ID lets you know the telephone number of the person calling you, even if you are already on the line with another caller.
Call Waiting ID Deluxe lets you know the telephone number and name of the person calling you, even if you are already on the line with another caller.
Caller ID lets you know the telephone number of the person calling you when you are not on another call.
Caller ID Deluxe lets you know the telephone number and name of the person calling you when you are not on another call.
Priority Call (*61) allows you to be notified by a distinctive audible signal when you receive a call from one of ten pre-specified telephone numbers. Simply dial *61 and listen for instructions.
Deactivate Priority Call (*81)
Selective Call Acceptance (*64) lets you choose up to 10 people you would like to hear from. Everyone else will hear a message stating that you are not receiving calls at this time. This feature is available as a monthly subscription only.
Deactivate Selective Call Acceptance (*84)
Distinctive Ring allows you to have 2 to 3 separate telephone numbers assigned to one local number. Each line will have a distinctive ring pattern that will enable you to determine which number is being dialed. If you have the Call Waiting feature, the tone will match the distinctive ring patterns.
This feature is used in combination with Call Waiting and Distinctive Ring. It is designed for customers who have a separate line for their fax line, so that the fax line does not beep call waiting. You must have the number that will be your fax line designated before activating this feature.
Call Waiting lets you know with a audible tone when someone is trying to call you while you are already on the phone. Simply put the first call on hold by pressing the receiver button. You can switch between the two calls as often as you like, and each call is private and cannot be heard by the other line.
If an incoming call detects a busy signal, the system will hunt for the next available line. When Call Hunting and Call Forwarding are installed on the same line, Call Forwarding takes precedence over Call Hunting. This feature is not compatible with Call Waiting.

Note: Some phones have a "flash" or "link" button. Use this instead of the receiver button to change lines. While using three way calling, call waiting is unavailable.
